Waldar’s SQLing and Datawarehousing Place

So i’m throwing myself into the marvellous blogging world.

I wonder why i didn’t make that before. I can be some geek or nerd, but it took me years before having a cellphone, and more years for having a cellphone which goes beyond phoning and SMSing. On the other side, i’m up to date concerning computer hardware stuff.

A friend of mine remembered me that I told him back in 1997 that there was just to much information on Internet and I wasn’t foreseeing me being a part of this, well, web. And it seems the social web is eating me.

I’m french native, never lived in another country - beside holidays - but I choose to write in english for mostly two reasons :

• I aim this blog to have a majority of “serious” stuff, concerning SQL and Datawarehousing. So a computer world. With a lot of guys. Of english writing guys.
• I could be corrected and therefore improve my writing skills. My spoken langage is quite awful : if you know some french guy with a nice cliché accent, I may sound quite like him. But well, blogging is still about writing right ?

I’m not sure about the first final look this blog may have. I just installed WordPress so far and i’m very very newbie to the options, so I’ll see that point later, but as i saw somewhere in the tutorials the main thing about blogging remains what can be found inside the blog.

Too bad for me, my provider activated MySQL a bit late, so I won’t be able to do the first real post that motivated me to cross the blogging line, it will have to wait tomorrow.
